Tanner's Baptism

Tanner was baptized March 10 in Hurricane and I still haven't gotten around to blogging about it.  I once heard of "pay-days" for parents.  The day your child makes the choice to be baptized is definitely a pay day!  We are so happy that he made the choice to be baptized.  We love him so much!  It's amazing to watch our children make good choices.  We always talk to them and try and help them understand the meaning of baptism and the covenants there are making.  We want the choice to be theirs and not ours.

The baptism went really well.  My dad was able to preside and we had it at his stake center.  Lots of family and friends were able to come.  Afterwards we had cupcakes (thanks Val and Grandma for helping) at my parents and had a chance to catch up with everyone.  We miss our Hurricane peeps and family and it was fun to see some of them again!  :)
